Hi all members or box owners!!!
you need a Mprog programer.

If someone has problem with his box he just has to repair it
with E2P using Mprog.

Thank you volkangsm2 ... some case where my box is
not detected or detected as wrong/other box.

How to read ept FTDI from box??

Take the Hi Guess see what your missing. Register NOW to view full thread ->

Select file.. new

Connect only your device then select scan device in MProg tool.

How to read and write eprom..

With this its possible to read and write eeprom inside FTDI USB->Serial / USB->UART devices, as used in most all GSM boxes.

If your box is not recognised by software, good chance you can repair with these files.

If box is not recognised by windows (USB install error) then replace eeprom (or whole FTDI in case of internal eeprom), write with above file and viola, box repaired.

Good luck

Choose correct device type from tabbed menu on right hand side (open box and read chip text to see that..).

In MProg, select tools.. read to get ept data.

Now file.. save with your name of choise.

How to re-install FTDI drivers in case of any problems or conflicts with another boxes:
1. disconnect box from PC
2. uninstall FTDI drivers: C:\Windows\system32\ftdiunin.exe
3. reboot PC
4. connect box to PC and install FTDI drivers from Infintiy-Box package

How to re-program box FTDI eeprom:

3. program FTDI with FT232R_Infinity.ept (this depends on box to be fixed)

Is it possible to program a UFS FTDI Chip as i destroyed the chip of jaf and i want to use it on jaf?

yes, after repair chip you need reprogram ftdi chip with mprog

Infinity-Box eeproms

To make box alive just start MProg and Erase eeprom of Infinity-Box. Box should be visible to PC as a virtual COM port again.

Also here is 2 files for MProg attached, you can also program Unibox as an Infinity-Box usb device.
